Annual Fundraiser Event-“Northern Serenade”

Event Details:

Any Canuck would have felt right at home in our wintery wonderland of twinkly lit trees, Canadian red & white flags and warm hospitality. Our “Northern Serenade” event was a fun-filled evening of food, great music, and a silent auction to benefit our organization and the 2019 tour to Quebec/Montreal Canada. The February theme of “To Canada With Love” was represented in the decor, delightful maple treats and professional photo booth presented by In-Motion Photography (pictures available online for purchase,in-motionphoto.com). Guests were entertained with solos, duets and group numbers from well-known productions that showed the amazing talents and training of our singers. Many parents and local companies donated food, auction items and their valuable time to “share the love” that we all have for SYV and what it has done for our children. Our event significantly contributed to the excitement all our singers feel about our upcoming tour to Canada and our founder’s home town to share our choral talents with our northern neighbors this summer .
