Concert and Evensong Service @ Church of the Redeemer featuring the music of Benjamin Britten
SYV has been invited to sing a pre-service concert at 4:45 pm at Church of the Redeemer in downtown Sarasota to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the passing of English composer Benjamin Britten. This performance will feature both Prelude Choir and Cantabile Choir with SYV Consort Singers. Cantabile Choir and SYV Consort will join the Choir of the Church of the Redeemer for the Evensong Service at 5:30 PM following the concert to sing Britten’s iconic “Rejoice in the Lamb” during the service.
