2018-Perform International Choral Festival: “A Choral Odyssey” -Greece

This summer, our singers traveled to Thessaloniki, Greece. While at the festival, we had the opportunity to perform with singers from around the world and in multiple locations across Greece including Athens and Kalambaka. We also participated in a service project for a local orphanage and took a day cruise of three islands on the Aegean Sea. The singers of SYV saw multiple historic museums, went swimming in the bright blue waters of Greece and visited breathtaking ancient sites. All those involved would agree that this was a trip of a lifetime with many new friendships made as we toured alongside our friends from the Chicago based choir, Anima, under the Artistic Director Emily Ellsworth.
